It is currently managing and progressing a significant portfolio of operational and development stage solar+ battery storage projects. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Associate at Primergy supports marketing, communications, and community engagement activities. This role manages visual and reputational branding across various platforms, develops marketing materials, maintains Primergy’s online presence, and supports event coordination. The successful candidate will have experience in B2B marketing/communications, the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas, and the enthusiasm to drive marketing projects forward.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Assist in producing visually appealing marketing materials, including presentations, one-pagers, social media content, and blog posts
- Manage and implement consistent branding across all marketing materials
- Maintain content on the company website and social media platforms
- Support the planning of community engagement events, such as site tours, project groundbreakings, and ribbon-cutting ceremonies
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential market opportunities
- Use data to analyze the effectiveness of marketing activities, making strategic changes to enhance outcomes
- Support the development and distribution of press releases and other public communications
- Manage marketing project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure the timely delivery of marketing assets
- Help maintain and grow relationships with industry partners and stakeholders
- 5% - Other duties as assigned
- Travel for team meetings, industry events, and other business-related events (approximately 20% of the time)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years relevant B2B marketing, communications, or related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus
- Experience with and understanding of utility-scale solar and energy storage development is preferred.
