About the team
The Product Marketing team at Aurora Solar crafts powerful positioning, messaging, and enablement to drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion. We are the voice of the customer internally and the voice of the product externally. From product strategy to launch, our primary focus is to ensure that our solutions are positioned optimally in the market.
About the Role
As our next Product Marketing Manager you will own our solutions for residential solar sales. You will develop a deep knowledge of our buyers and market to educate the best strategies and tactics to deliver the most value to customers. You will help guide GTM activities for new features, define and deepen the product narrative, and deliver compelling content to promote internal and external activations. This is a highly impactful and collaborative role that sits at the intersection of Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
Your Impact
Become a subject matter expert on Aurora’s sales solution, informing go-to-market strategy, roadmap, and campaigns to drive growth
Research market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to ensure our sales solution remains differentiated and relevant
Create positioning and messaging with compelling narratives that align with our customer needs in each stage of the buyer journey
Build and amplify compelling content for key enablement assets such as customer-facing presentations, buyer’s guides, battle cards, product collateral, solution guides, return on investment models, customer testimonials, etc
Manage product launch campaigns by formulating and implementing the go-to-market strategy for new product segments and features, collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, customer enablement) to establish messaging, positioning, pricing, demos, and packaging
Analyze the success of marketing campaigns, launches, and messaging by analyzing important data, capturing feedback, and making data-driven recommendations for improvement
Partner with Marketing to drive pipeline through marketing campaigns, thought influence, content marketing, webinars, events, and more
What You Bring
5+ years in product marketing, marketing, product, or other related field
Skilled in running product launches with multiple buyer personas
Experience working in B2B software go-to-market (sales, marketing, sales enablement, or customer success)
Strategic framework problem solver who can use quantitative and qualitative data to encourage new ideas and initiatives to drive business growth
Highly interactive and enjoys building relationships with cross-functional teams and customers
Experience conducting research and developing competitive analysis
Great orator, storyteller, and writer who can turn industry and product complexity into clear and engaging positioning and narrative
Resourceful and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized and self-directed
BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience
Nice to Haves
Working on launches involving product integrations and partner campaigns involving third parties
Experience with Salesforce, Looker, Gong, and/or Pendo
History of driving marketing campaigns with external partners
Familiarity with the solar or renewable energy industries
Experience in fast-paced, highly-adaptive environment
