This position provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to join our new manufacturing team where you will have the opportunity to help build SolarEdge’s smart energy products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly work using manufacturing tools and machines
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Understand production requirements and daily production expectations
- Will be trained on general safety and quality awareness processes
- Escalate issues and production concerns to leaders
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Must be able to read and effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written
- Reliable attendance is required
- Willingness to learn new systems, processes and procedures
- Ability to stand at a station for long periods of time performing repetitive processes, up to 8 hours a day
- Moderate physical demand required including lifting, bending, reaching, walking, grasping, fine manipulation, and stooping
- Comfortable working independently and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with team members
- Prior experience with electronics manufacturing an advantage
FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE
At SolarEdge, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The pay range for this position in Nevada at the start of employment is expected to be between $19 - $23 per hour. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
