Job Title: PMO Specialist

PMO Specialist Job Description:
Responsible for assisting the PMO Manager with various project planning and scheduling activities, monitoring project progress, managing risks, and compiling various reports. Provide consultation to project team members. Familiar with various project management concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on cross-functional team collaboration to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project management team and corporate teams to assist the PMO Manager in driving departmental execution according to project plans, and participate in regular project meetings.
- Gather information, conduct analysis, prepare reports, and create presentations to communicate potential issues and concerns as needed during the project.
- Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule.
- Identify, determine, and communicate project changes, scope changes, schedule delays, and potential impacts, and participate in formulating corrective actions.
- Track project progress, monitor trends, maintain thorough documentation, and generate various reports as required based on project needs.
- Ensure smooth communication channels and interaction between the PMO team and project stakeholders regarding the scope of work during project execution, ensuring that the project proceeds smoothly.
- Participate in risk management, including identifying, documenting, and tracking potential risks within the project, and assess the impact of identified risks on the project’s schedule and progress.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the PMO Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
Language Skills, Certifications, and/or Training:
- Extensive understanding of manufacturing principles and practices.
- Ability to research and analyze complex information and draw valid conclusions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to actively listen and adapt behavior and communication style based on the audience.
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Skills in adhering to safety practices and recognizing, controlling, and/or eliminating safety hazards.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with employees/peers and establish common goals and expectations.
- Strong analytical skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Proficient in relevant office software (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Bilingual (English and Mandarin).
