Position Summary:
We’re searching for a talented Network & Systems Administrator to oversee the security, configuration and maintenance of key systems that enable our business to move fast. This position is based in Mesquite, TX and requires 3 days per week office attendance with the flexibiilty to work from home 1-2 days per week.
In this role, you will:
Establish and monitor base network performance, quickly locate and solve network faults, and improve network availability and performance
Configure, maintain, and management of base network equipment to ensure the stable operation of the network.
Participate in and assist in the design and optimization of the group's network architecture to improve network scalability and security.
Write and maintain network documentation, including network topology diagrams, configuration manuals, etc.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment and related infrastructure components.
Maintain systems through Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows-based servers and physical and virtual systems
Managing backups through designing and implementing backup solutions for servers, virtual machines, and data
Creating and managing users accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and resolve infrastructure network-related issues and ensure minimal downtime for business operations.
Provide technical guidance and support to end users to assist with infrastructure-related inquiries and issues.
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience as a Systems Administrator in highly complex organizations
5-7 years experience as a Network Administrator
Associate’s degree in Information Technology preferred
Supplemental certificates such as CCNA/CCNP/HCNA/HCNP and others are preferred but not required
Experience with firewalls, VPN remote implementation, WAN/LAN/WLAN configuration and segmentation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
Experience with server virtualization and load balancing via VMWare
Experience managing and troubleshooting network related products (modern terminal network access such as Azure/Active Directory, SSE, SASE, cloud identity authentication, etc.), mainstream cloud platforms (Azure VMs, AWS, mobile network partial technical backup and network technology is preferred)
Strong communication skills and experience aligning internal stakeholders
Ability to work independently and effectively in a teamwork environment
Experience working in Manufacturing is a plus, but not required
Compensation and Benefits
Canadian Solar offers a competitive salary plus fully comprehensive benefits and performance bonus package based on an annual objective achievement. Our generous benefits package includes a 401(k) Retirement Plan, medical/dental/life/disability program, PTO and sick days.
The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 to $105,000.00. This range represents annual base salary only, without regard to location, and does not include quarterly bonuses or incentives or benefits that may apply. The pay range for this role is subject to change.
