Sorter – Warehouse Labor
St. Cloud, MN
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, hours may vary, & overtime may be required
Report to: Plant Manager
Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour
Position Summary:
The Sorter is responsible for categorizing electronic equipment by grade level, meeting department goals and maintaining a clean work area.

Essential Duties:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Meet or exceed department daily weight sorting goals
- Maintain a clean work area by performing various clean-up tasks
- Ensure universal wastes are sorted and stored appropriately per company procedures
- Relieve other operations and complete necessary paperwork for proper documentation
- Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external customer needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Regular, predictable attendance
- Adhere to all safety practices and procedures
Qualifications and Education:
- High school education or GED preferred
- Previous experience working in an industrial warehouse setting preferred
- Minimum 1+ years industry experience preferred but not required
Certifications & Training
- Forklift Operator Training and Certification issued by IRT
- Participate in all Safety Training identified and assigned by IRT
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 lbs; heavier items will be moved with partner assistance.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Balances team and individual responsibilities
- Ability to hit deadlines in a high energy fast paced environment
- Must be a reliable team member and safety orientated
