SolarEdge's Global Product Marketing team plays a crucial and strategic role in bringing new products ready for market and advancing product sales.
As a SolarEdge Product Marketing Team Leader, you will oversee a team of Product Marketing Managers, ensuring that they effectively translate our products' technical details into compelling value propositions and impactful marketing assets. You will work cross-functionally between Product Management, Marketing, and Sales to create sales enablement activities. You will drive communications of product direction, market insights, positioning, and key messages to contribute to the overall success of our product launches and market presence.
As a Product Marketing Team Leader, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Product Marketing Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
- Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and evaluate team performance to ensure alignment with company goals and individual development.
- Develop and implement the overall product marketing strategy, aligning it with SolarEdge’s business objectives and market needs.
- Oversee the creation and refinement of value propositions and messaging for new and existing products.
- Ensure successful execution of product launches by coordinating with Product, Marketing, Sales, and other relevant teams.
- Communicate new products and features to customers, prepare product content such as presentations, white papers, case studies, and website content
- Plan and take part in the launch of new products, features, and versions, and involve several different departments in such launches
- Gain insight into customer use of current and future products
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product positioning and differentiation.
- Guide the team in understanding and addressing market dynamics and customer requirements.
We are looking for you, an enthusiastic storyteller with innovative and creative writing skills, with the right mix of creative and technical know-how. You’re a flexible, enthusiastic team leader who is cross-functional and enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in product marketing / product management / similar position, including significant experience in a leadership role.
- A master of positioning and messaging.
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing a team of marketing professionals.
- Strong background in transforming complex technical information into clear, compelling marketing messages.
- Experience with B2B2C hardware products is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of English proficiency.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated with a positive outlook, strategic mindset, and a proactive attitude.
