Job Description Summary
Spares EMEAI is responsible to manage CSS Spare Parts in the EMEAI Pole in coordination with CSS Global Spare Parts Team, GEEPI, Sales Managers and Customers.
India Sales Manager is responsible to manage relationship, strategy, and growth for identified key accounts covering India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving long-term partnerships to ensure sustainable sales growth and profitability.
Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that the quarterly sales performance against the key business metrics is aligned with the accounts planning actions, by leveraging the high-level relationships with key stakeholders. You will be involved in actively supporting issue resolutions across the whole ITR process, including deal closure negotiations, project execution challenges and Cash collection.
Collaboration will be key, as you foster effective and efficient communication across functional areas on both regional and global levels, aligning all efforts toward common business goals.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Build critical networks with internal and external partnerships for mutually beneficial solutions.
- Lead in the development or enhancement of the key account planning / strategies. Able to drive commercially and contractually strategic partnership initiatives.
- Collaborate on the annual budget and sales growth plan for the region, actively contributing to the budgeting process in each focus area.
- Monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability, costs, and collections to align with the agreed budget (SIC) for each segment.
- Review and negotiate substantial orders, framework agreements, and rebates in accordance with DOA across the different focus areas.
- Foster employee motivation and a sense of belonging to GE and the local site.
- Undertake any ad-hoc tasks or projects as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- 7 + years mixed in a sales or sales support role.
- Minimum 5 year’s Sales, Commercial or Services experience with control systems.
Desired Characteristics:
- Commercial sales experience in closing large and complex contractual agreements
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- Proven coordination and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs
- Able to effectively energize a multi-functional team to meet sales plan
- Strong oral and written communication skills
