A forward-thinking company in the renewable energy sector is seeking a dedicated Finance and Logistics Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time role based in-office with working hours as 08h30 to 16h30 Monday to Friday with potential for hybrid working arrangements after the probation period. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting or finance, along with logistics experience, to manage stock tracking effectively, invoicing, and payment processes.
Responsibilities:
Accounting and Finance:
- Manage and log invoices for payments received and made.
- Maintain accurate banking records and facilitate transactions.
- Conduct stock consolidation and manage the financial aspects of inventory.
Logistics Management:
- Oversee stock tracking and inventory management in the warehouse.
- Coordinate with the warehouse storeman regarding stock take and ensure accurate records.
- Monitor warehouse logistics to ensure efficient stock handling and distribution.
Communication and Reporting:
- Provide regular reports on stock levels, financial transactions, and discrepancies.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in financial audits and compliance checks as needed.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in finance and logistics administration, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Familiarity with stock tracking systems and warehouse management.
- Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office (essential).
- Exposure to CRM systems is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Afrikaans is preferred.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
