ABOUT THE ROLE
Maxwell Underground Mine are currently seeking an experienced HSEC Administrator to join our Team. Reporting to the Health Safety Environment and Community (HSEC) Manager, the role will primarily be responsible for providing administrative assistance to the HSEC Department.
Key objectives of the role:
- Managing the site induction process using the Pegasus workforce management system to ensure an efficient and effective onboarding experience.
- Manage the site reporting process including analysis and presentation of HSEC data including producing Microsoft Excel charts and graphs and visual dashboards.
- Support business functions in meeting HSEC objectives and compliance.
- Maintain HSEC related data and systems.
- Provide administrative assistance with incident investigations and risk assessments.
- Providing general administrative assistance to the HSEC department.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Data entry and basic maintenance of HSEC systems.
- Assisting with preparing HSEC related reports.
- Assisting with incident investigations and risk assessments
- Assisting with document preparation, review and formatting.
- General site administration duties such as minute taking, printing, binding, filing, copying, scheduling, purchasing and ordering.
- Helping to develop a safety culture that supports the companies values.
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Use of Pegasus onboarding system, and management of role and training requirements.
- Expertise in managing, interpreting and presenting data to stakeholders.
- Highly capable in office applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email.
- At least five years' experience in an administrative role (or equivalent).
- Exhibiting a keen eye for detail to ensure the quality control aspects of the role are met.
- Able to work autonomously to effectively organise and prioritise own workload.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Building strong working relationships through exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- An understanding of NSW statutory obligations relevant to Workplace Health and Safety.
- Strong personal values towards safety.
- A working knowledge of INX InControl risk software or similar would be advantageous.
