We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Green Energy Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our green energy portfolio such as Solar Cell and EV Charger. - Market Analysis and Feasibility Study: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the green energy sector such as Solar Cell, EV.
- Business Development: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our client base and enhance market presence in renewable energy solutions.
- Partnership Development: Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including governmental bodies, NGOs, and private sector organizations, to promote collaborative projects and initiatives.
- Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients and partners.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business development professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth and achieve targets in the green energy market, identifying key opportunities for expansion.
- Project Management: Oversee the execution of business development initiatives and partnerships, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.
- Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our brand and establish key contacts within the green energy community.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on objective key results (OKRs) related to business development activities, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in Power Electric, Renewable Energy Engineering or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in successful business development in green energy fields with a track record of success in project execution as well as project development is essential.
- Experience in Solar cell or EV fields more than 5 years is preferred.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, market trends, and regulatory frameworks.
- Good understanding of development project management and governance.
- An understanding of the practical realities and cultural dimensions of working in the assigned country/location.
- Communication and reporting, including ensuring appropriate information is collected, communicated. managed and archived effectively.
- A team player with excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data and trends.
