The Transmission Development Analyst, Right of Way (ROW) will work on a variety of assignments supporting the Transmission ROW team. As an Analyst, Transmission (ROW), you will provide support to an entire team of real estate professionals managing right of way activities across a portfolio of electric transmission line projects.
Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all assigned project information.
Prepare and/or manage project correspondence including letters, emails and meeting notes.
Collaborate with internal Invenergy teams as well as consultants, as assigned, to advance large-scale transmission projects.
Monitor project budgets and schedules to identify trends, variances or opportunities and report on the same regularly to project leadership.
Track project key performance indicators and provide recommendations to improve metrics where applicable.
Identify, create and manage process documentation for the Transmission ROW Organization.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to optimize existing processes and develop new processes.
Enter and manage purchase order requisitions for assigned projects.
Process, track and submit invoices to Accounts Payable for payment.
Provide first line responses to project stakeholder inquiries, which may include landowners or their assigned representative, consultants, officials or other inquiries received by the assigned project, and escalating inquiries to the appropriate project team member as required.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business, Management, Engineering, Real Estate or another related field.
1-2 years’ professional work experience ideally in a related industry (energy, utilities, right of way, land management, land use, surveying, or environmental.)
Exceptional customer service skills, professional demeanor, and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to prioritize assignments across multiple projects and re-prioritize assignments as needed.
Strong initiative and process improvement focus.
Ability to communicate with various stakeholders, build strong working relationships and to maintain confidential information.
Critical thinking skills with ability to identify and solve problems or present recommendations as needed.
Proficient in data management and all MS Office software, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
Valid driver’s license required.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Skills
Experience working on, or a strong desire and aptitude to learn about, electric transmission projects or other long, linear energy projects.
Industry certifications or licenses applicable to the role including but not limited to AAPL or IRWA
Familiarity with the concepts of law, engineering, surveying, real estate and contracts.
Experience using mapping software, mainly Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or Google Earth.
Experience with PowerBI or other data analytic tools enabling data-drive decision-making.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel and to work under minimal supervision.
