Location
Hybrid in Raleigh Durham area, NC. This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Must be within a commutable distance.
Role Overview
Responsible for the design, implementation, ongoing management, and continuous improvement of the company's Quality Management System.
What You'll Be Doing
Owner and expert of all company Quality Management System (QMS) standards and procedures
Provides QMS support to EHSQ and Logistics professionals at individual sites as needed
Primary liaison when engaging with 3rd party experts or consultants covering the same scope of work.
Responsible for the laboratory testing methods and LIMS system used to track feedstock and product results
Develops robust analytics and quality control metrics
Develops, owns, maintains, shares, and reacts to QMS KPIs for all sites
Develops and delivers QMS training programs - interface with company Training and Development Manager
Trainer (or ensures adequate training) of affected site personnel in QMS standards and procedures.
Signs off on all MOCs affecting the QMS
Auditor at sites to ensure the effectiveness of standards, procedures, and work processes they are responsible for to ensure those aspects of the program are working and providing the protections as designed
Interfaces with other company program managers as needed when standards, procedures, work processes interact or overlap to ensure clarity of roles and that all stakeholder needs are met
Basic Qualifications (Required)
7+ years of experience
BS in a related field of study
Professional credentials such as Certified Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
Certified Auditor of ISO9001 a plus
Lean or Six Sigma experience/certification a plus
Understanding of Product Stewardship and able to manage all regulatory paperwork related to Recycled Polypropylene
Ability to manage certifications such as PCR and or ISO 9001 Certifications.
Experience with EHSQ Platforms (Enablon, Intelex, etc.)
Familiarity with ISO 9001
Proficient with modern workplace software (Office, etc.)
