We are seeking a FT Solar Installers responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar systems, carrying out the day-to-day production needs of the company by ensuring quality workmanship. Installers configure systems based on conditions and customer needs, connect panels to power grid, set-up, maintain and clean up project sites.

Position Overview: This position is responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar systems, carrying out the day-to-day production needs of the company by ensuring quality workmanship.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs
- Configures systems based on site conditions and customers’ needs and expectations, connects panels to power grid
- Help set-up, maintain, and clean-up project sites
- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with federal, state, and local standards and codes including OSHA standards
- Report any safety concerns or issues, stopping work if needed
- Inspects electrical installation and wiring
- Ensures equipment is weather sealed
- Properly manage all assigned tools, equipment, and material
Education and Experience:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of experience in solar installation
Required Skills and Abilities:
- OSHA 10-hour training (minimum)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment, solar panel installation
- Must be able to obtain security clearance on military job sites
- Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Detail-oriented

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program
- Willing to travel, work overtime and weekends
- Ability to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights)
