ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Main purpose of the role:
The role is to provide the business with ‘real time’ support, analysis, planning & reporting and to add value that will assist in decision making.
The Corporate Finance Analyst works in providing short term and long term planning and significant input to the strategic planning and business plan for the entire subsidiary. The role requires an ‘in depth’ understanding of the business activities and business model. The role has a high impact on decision making for the whole subsidiary.
Key responsibilities:
Financial Planning Responsibilities – Planning cycles from 1 – 5 years
- Take part in the preparation of the various planning cycles (Budget, LE2, LE3)
- Assist the Finance Business Partner to Enable the budget owners, project leaders and senior management to provide timely and accurate information.
- Understand the key business drivers, plan assumptions and project financial models.
- Dialogue around planned spend to improve planning accuracy.
- Establish efficient and effective processes to compile the plans and submit to Corporate.
- Analyze and provide key findings to be presented to senior leadership audience.
Financial Reporting & Analysis Responsibilities:
- Take part in the preparation of:
• Internal management reports.
• Corporate reporting.
• Financial information to Committees and Boards.
• Comparison of current year actuals to plan and prior year actuals and analyses variances for both internal and corporate reporting.
• Ad hoc requests from the business in relation to financial analysis and reporting.
Other Responsibilities:
- Information management, process simplification and automation around financial planning, reporting & analysis.
- Provide active support to the Controllership team, developing and championing change processes and system.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Must-have Qualifications and Certifications:
Master’s degree in economics
RELEVANT EXPERIENCES
Must-have years of professional experiences:
At least 3 years of professional experience in financial planning and/or analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Must-have years of industry experiences:
COMPETENCIES
Technical competencies:
- Excellent knowledge of forecasting and budgeting in a multinational company.
- Competence in monthly and annual reporting and closures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Strong knowledge in project finance and modelling.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, V-look ups, etc.)
Behavioral competencies:
- Ability of consolidating and processing a large volume of data from various sources
- High level of attention to details and error detection.
- Ability to stay focused and meet deadlines.
