IBM Sustainability Software helps companies achieve their sustainability goals by infusing data with AI into daily operations enabled by expertise to deliver profit and purpose. This happens in five core areas: sustainability strategy, data, and reporting; energy transition and climate resilience; intelligent assets, facilities, and infrastructure; responsible computing and green IT; and sustainable supply chains and circularity. Each of these areas requires collecting data, making it visible and usable, and then acting on that data to drive sustainability outcomes. IBM offers a strong set of tools and products to support clients in their sustainability journey.
As the Product Manager for GHG Emissions Embedded, you will lead the development of our strategy, go-to-market (GTM) plans, and product roadmap for building a best-in-class API product that helps organizations measure, report, and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. This will build upon IBM’s leadership position in the Carbon accounting and management market with a calculation platform, enabling developers to automate GHG emission calculations via APIs that can integrate with any software platform.

- Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution: Develop and execute GTM strategies, working closely with sales, marketing, consulting, professional services and/or customer success teams to position the product and drive adoption in the marketplace.
- Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, balancing customer needs, market opportunities, and internal development capacity to ensure timely and high quality delivery of features and enhancements.
- Embedded Use Case Exploration: Identify and develop new embedded use cases for the GHG Emissions API that enable developers to integrate GHG calculations into various software applications or platforms for automated, real-time emissions monitoring.
- API Documentation and Developer Support: Ensure that the GHG Emissions API documentation is clear and accurate to easily support developers in effectively integrating the API into their applications.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to ensure the API's functionality, usability, and scalability align with customer needs and industry standards.
- Customer Feedback and Market Research: Engage with customers, partners, and industry experts to gather feedback and insights, ensuring that the product evolves to meet market demands and regulatory requirements.
- Partnership Opportunities: Identify and explore potential partnerships with other technology providers to enhance the value proposition of the GHG Emissions APIs.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track metrics such as API adoption, customer retention, and emissions data accuracy to evaluate product success and inform future development.
