JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the overall day-to-day operation, P&L, leadership, and management of the designated facility. Ensures facility is maintaining environmental and regulatory compliance standards and operating and preserving a safe work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Foster a culture that promotes a safe work environment through the development and implementation of safety plans and training; maintain environmental and regulatory compliance standards.
2. Proactively deliver financial results commensurate with operations budget and
company goals
3. Plan, organize and direct the safe and environmentally compliant day-to-day operations to exceed customers’ expectations
4. Utilize the existing FIIX, CMMS system to improve reliability, reduce unplanned downtime and reduce maintenance costs
5. Manage spare parts and critical equipment inventory
6. Develop and maintain site capital plan, develop project justifications and manage the completion of projects
7. Research, investigate and analyze process and/or equipment failures or breakdowns to determine the root cause of the malfunctions. Develops corrective action plans and strategies.
8. Utilize data to ensure facility production objectives are achieved at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements while maintaining compliance with Federal, State, and Local Safety and Environmental regulations and laws
9. Delegate responsibilities as required to achieve the desired business objectives
10. Improve employee relations by building a healthy organization, by promoting a culture of respect consistent with company values
11. Drive change by challenging the status quo, developing a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
12. Create an operating cadence (rhythm) that utilizes appropriate tools and incorporates clear communication and accountability for business results.
13. Drive customer retention and business growth by proactively seeking to understand customer needs and exceeding their expectations.
14. Develop organizational capacity by clearly defining roles, responsibilities, providing feedback, coaching and development for all staff.
15. Deliver expected results through effective project execution, by ensuring appropriate personnel and equipment resources are available for efficient performance
16. Provide timely communication (oral and written) to the customer, outside agencies, vendors and support personnel to meet safety, environmental and business objectives

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
1. Demonstrated strong interpersonal, problem solving and relationship building skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline/engineering/business management required,
2. 10+ years of increasing management responsibility, experience in industrial services, manufacturing or engineering industries
3. Minimum of five years in a Profit/Loss leadership role
