About the job and your team
• Ensure and optimize collaboration with business partners in the OtC cycle
• Control and reduce risk of receivables, minimize working capital and bad debt
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness in the assigned tasks
• Assist with audits as necessary
• Test and participate in projects
• Actively participate in conference calls and meetings
• Adherence to with internal and external compliance regulations
• Perform other tasks assigned by a Senior Specialist or Team Lead
• Ensure to work in compliance with Hydro Quality system, HSE regulations, policies and standardized operating procedures.
You will work on
• Understand and map as-is and to-be processes and document them
• Understand customer requirements and drive self / team to meet customer requirements
• Learn, train and perform the processes or activities from customer
• Monitor process performance and ensure that the service levels are met
• Be quality centric and achieve highest level of accuracy in the deliverables
• Interact with business partners frequently (30-35% via phone/oral communication) to address any challenges
• Comprehend email queries and respond
• Handle escalations, critical queries and prioritize deliverables
• Control and manage assigned accounts receivable portfolio
• Collect receivables at due time, follow-up and act on customers’ payment performance
• Manage collection calls, perform general correspondence: statement and dunning letters
• Provide, communicate and report collection status of customers
• Notify/escalate issues to Credit Management Specialist and Sales Managers and/or Clerks and/or Controllers
• Collect, file and communicate supporting documentation in case of claims
• Manage account reconciliation to ensure clean customer accounts
• Manage, investigate and perform credit holds and order release, analyse and communicate situation
• Perform administrative tasks in relation to collection
• Support the month-end closing process
• Support negotiation of financial agreements to secure outstanding and debt collection
• Support negotiation of payment agreements, conditions, timeframe, and interest
• Collaborate with Risk Assessment Team to assist with renewing credit lines of the assigned portfolio
• Report all credit line related concerns to the Risk Assessment Specialists and direct Team Lead

Your qualifications and skills
• 2-3 years’ work experience in finance/sales/education or similar position is advantage
• Minimum secondary level and/or tertiary level education in Finance / Economics or language studies.
• Slovakian, Czech and English language knowledge. Any other European language is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Goal oriented and task focused
• Customer service orientation
• Excellent in oral and written communication, good in active listening
• Excellent in organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong in coordination, time management, critical thinking, analytical and reasoning skills
• Ability to problem solving, decision making with prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to review one’s own work and find and correct any mistakes
• Understand of the overall impact of the financial decisions
• Experience using MS Excel and Word
• Experience with SAP / S4 HANA software
