Field Technician, Jacksonville/Northern Florida
SUMMARY:
Aeroseal is looking for a Field Technician, Jacksonville, Florida.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• We will train you! No AeroBarrier or air sealing experience necessary.
• High school diploma or GED - New graduates welcomed and encouraged to apply!
• Due to the nature of federal and government contracts, candidate must be able to pass a background check, including drug screening, prior to hire.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Valid Driver's License and a clean background required (3 years)
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed: As a technician for Aeroseal in Jacksonville, you will be provided with a company vehicle and a gas card, enabling you to work remotely without the need to report to an office daily. You will be responsible for managing materials and inventory both in your work rig and at a local warehouse facility. Regular travel to construction job sites within the greater Jacksonville area is a key part of the role, and routine travel between job sites in this region is expected. Additionally, travel to other locations throughout Northern Florida will occur with less frequency. On occasion, you may be required to travel outside the Northern Florida market for special projects. When this occurs, Aeroseal provides a per diem and covers all travel-related expenses. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with this level of travel and willing to adjust their schedule as needed to accommodate varying job site locations.
• Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with Project Manager to prepare the home (job site) for AeroBarrier services to be performed
• Prep includes, but isn’t limited to, taping around operable windows, doors, air vents, light cut outs etc.
• Assist in unloading and loading equipment required for each job site
• Complete daily Equipment Check and Vehicle Inspection forms
• Participate in training/retraining programs as necessary
• Comply with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protective equipment when necessary to prevent injury
• Understand and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and company policies
• All safety guidelines must be strictly followed at all times.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment
• Professionally represent AeroBarrier and provide exceptional service to all clients, vendors, and business partners
• Duties outlined herein are intended to be the minimum duties expected of you by AeroBarrier. You are expected to use your discretion to expand upon these duties to ensure that your job mandate is met and that your performance is such that the general spirit and intent of the duties outlined above are completed as required. Reports to Project Manager and Branch Manager
The estimated pay range for this role is $50,000-60,000. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate’s experience, skills, knowledge, and job location. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary and do not include bonuses or benefits.
