Key Tasks:
1. Coordination of battery system product, portfolio and module management
2. Cross-functional coordination VW-wide and re-enforcement of VW-interests by prioritization, escalation, reporting and consolidation topics
3. Regular reporting of project performance (esp. CZ-committee cascade) ; Active participation in relevant management committees (i.e., TMM, PT, GF, Portfolio Team)
4. Bring important topics to decision or escalation into relevant committees (Focus product) and empowerment of decision making
5. Aligning the product requirements, timelines & roll out plans of the battery systems with Management of the Group Component in Germany (ZG) and the Product Management China (C-GSC)
6. Overseeing and steering as Portfolio Manager of the product portfolio for the market China especially but not exclusively for the JVs
7. Alignment for and then registration and approval of Modules as part of the Module Management
8. Active participation in meetings and alignment of the Battery Strategy Globaly with all relevant stake holders
9.Overseeing Project budget approval and spending and reporting th Mmgt within C-PN
10. Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
11. Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.
Qualification and skills required for the position:
Education:
Bachelor degree in chemistry, electrical engineering, electro-chemistry, aytomotive or mechanical engineering
Working Experience:
At least 5 years of industry experience in battery development
3 years of working experience within automotive industry preferred.
Fluent in English, basic German and Chinese
