Your Responsibilities:

• Accountable as driver of the cell benchmark
• Responsible to ensure the timely project execution – meeting the given Milestones
• Responsible to track, implement, optimize and monitor the project progress on cross functional and inter department level
• Responsible to create, optimize, maintain processes with stakeholders in China and Germany
• Analyzes data by internet research, test products according VW requirements and analysis tests.
• Responsible to manage and align the internal and external stakeholders (e.g. VW Group and suppliers)
• Responsible to provide roadmaps and technical information from the market
• Determines improvement parameters for existing VW products.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies; supplier visits;
• Responsible to ensure the timely project execution – meeting the given Car Milestones
• Responsible to track, implement, optimize and monitor the project progress on cross functional and inter department level
• Responsible to create, optimize, maintain processes with stakeholders in China and Germany
• Responsible to manage and align the internal and external stakeholders (e.g. VW Group and suppliers)
• Responsible for the compliance and standard and regulation check of the product to full fill local and global laws and regulations
• Drive the development activities with the related supplier, align countermeasures or solutions to reach project goals
• Execute all relevant activities to prepare a part release and create recommendation for approval and release
• Drive the project reporting through different levels
• Communicate and report through all the levels (Engineering and Management)
• Responsibility for preparation of status reports and communication in different comities.
• Responsibility alignments with purchasing, R&D, production and aftersales.
• Group wide Coordination with different departments, Joint Venture Partners and vehicle project
• Responsible for cell test sample handling, test performing, result analysis and report preparation.
• Responsible to create, optimize, maintain processes for in-house cell test bench operation under standard and requirement.
• Responsible to ensure the timely execution for in-house cell test, track and ensure for external cell test centers.
• Responsible to track, implement, and driving the optimization the group cell test standard, with alignment with related stake holder in the group.
• Execute all relevant activities to prepare cell testing result release and create recommendation for approval and release.
• Responsible for scouting and technically evaluating the cell test labs in China and Asia market, technically responsible and support for the test labs audition.
• Responsible to input, create and optimize use case for vehicle big data analysis (RTM).
• Responsible to track and monitor the data analysis.
• Drive to improve requirement, early detection and other actions to ensure a better performance guarantee on vehicle.
• Responsible to create, optimize, maintain processes with stakeholders in China and Germany.

Required Qualification:

• Necessary education: Bachelor degree in chemistry, electro-chemistry or material science

• Working experience:
  • At least 3-5 years of academic research and industry experience in battery cell.
  • 1-3 years of working experience within automotive industry preferred.
