What can you expect?
We are hiring Summer Interns in our different departments:
- Vard Design & Engineering are hiring Summer Interns in different engineering disciplines such as: Machinery, Structural, Electrical, Naval Architecture & Accommodation and HVAC.
- Vard Design is looking for summer interns within Conceptual Design, Hydro & Stability and Research & Innovation
- Vard Electro is looking for Summer Interns in these different areas: Software Development and Cyber Security and SeaQ portifolio; Power, Remote, Control, Bridge & Navigation, Communcation & Safety
- Seaonics are hiring Summer Interns within Mechanical engineering and Control System department
You will follow an engineer’s daily work where you will be assigned with both interesting and challenging work tasks, we will give you the chance to network with the experts of the maritime industry.
We will also consider Summer Interns within finance, procurement, marketing, HR and IT/Cyber Security.
Who are we looking for?
High performing students enrolled in a bachelor or master program in relevant areas. Examples: Ship Design, Marine Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Hydro Dynamics, Renewable Energy, Electrical, Automation, Computer Science, ICT, Cyber Security, Finance, Business/Administration, HR, Marketing.
- Maritime industry interest
- Flexible, systematic, structured
- Prefer a work environment with variety and high speed
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communications skills and the ability to work well in teams
- Identify yourself with the VARD values Craftmanship, Salesmanship and Fellowship
- Good knowledge of English language, both oral and written
