Our client is looking for a hands-on professional in Cape Town who can combine sound technical knowledge with effective project coordination, site management and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project execution across engineering, construction, testing and commissioning phases.
- Monitor site progress and work with contractors and suppliers to address technical and operational challenges.
- Assist with the implementation of Solar PV and BESS solutions, including grid integration and control systems.
- Support LV/MV electrical infrastructure projects and ensure technical requirements are met.
- Coordinate electrical metering, SSEG applications, meter registration and wayleave processes.
- Prepare technical submissions and maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.
- Facilitate effective communication between clients, project teams and relevant utility stakeholders.
- Support safe, compliant and efficient project handovers.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant electrical engineering qualification.
- At least 2 years’ experience in electrical project engineering or renewable energy projects.
- Knowledge of LV/MV systems, Solar PV, BESS and electrical commissioning.
- Familiarity with grid integration, metering and utility submission processes.
