Summary
You will serve as a Fish Biologist with US Fish and Wildlife Service. You will provide biological support on a variety of issues relating to management of fish and aquatic species and conservation of aquatic habitats.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Prepares reports on progress and completion of fisheries activities and formulates recommendations for review by supervisor. Uses automated computer programs (e.g., R) to manage large sets of data. Assists in conducting a variety of investigations including the design, collection, and analysis of fisheries data. Participates in the planning and implementation of a wide variety of investigations including the design, collection, and analysis of fisheries data. Participates in the presentation of project results at public and scientific meetings and conferences.
