Summary
You will serve as a Concessions Management Specialist with National Park Service, Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, located in Bartlett Cove, Alaska.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Evaluates visitor services to ensure that services are provided in accordance with contract provisions and Park Service regulations. Ensures reporting provisions of contracts are met. Applies relevant laws, regulations, policies, and contract provisions in order to monitor commercial service operations. Communicates relevant policy and procedural information to commercial service providers and park personnel. Reviews existing and proposed commercial services rates and services to provide recommendations to park management. Works with the Commercial Services Team Lead in maintaining close contact with key NPS staff (e.g., maintenance, interpretation) to ensure collaboration between the Commercial Services Program and other park divisions.
