JOB SUMMARY: This position is part of the Office of Management, Department of Energy. As an Executive Correspondence Management Analyst, you will serve as a focal point for receiving, analyzing, assigning, controlling, reviewing, distributing, disseminating, and recording correspondence addressed to and sent from the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Under Secretaries of Energy. MAJOR DUTIES: As an Executive Correspondence Management Analyst, you will: Review and analyze the appropriateness of the responses as well as accuracy of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Proofread and edit a variety of material for use by the Department of Energy as well as for release outside the organization. Manage and track timely response of correspondence and Department reports for the Secretary, Deputy Secretary and/or Under Secretaries review, approval and/or signature. Develop solutions to common correspondence problems and participates in the preparation of special projects assigned by the Executive Secretary by providing comprehensive material on and analysis of a large volume of information.
