What will you do?
- Create and Execute tests on Electronics Hardware products whose specification and architecture are defined, in a specific knowledge area.
- Technically lead electronics designs for new and modified products
- Investigate and resolve field issues involving electronic products
- Design and develop consumer electronic products and components (Analog and Digital Circuit Design of Control unit, etc.)
- Lead and influence the global team as the technical authority for our advanced electronic motor overload, protection and breaker offers
- Lead schematic and PCB design: coordinate work with firmware and systems engineers and collaborate with cross functional teams in Europe and Asia Pacific regions to resolve issues
- Lead adaptation projects for the offer range. (product expansion, new features, component obsolescence, cost reduction, customer adaptation requests, standards compliance)

Who will you report to?
- Electronics Hardware Manager
We know skills and competencies show up in many ways and can be based on your life experience. Here is a sample of competencies that can lead to success:
- 7+ years’ experience in electrical or electronic engineering
- 4-year B.S. degree in electrical, electronic, computer engineering or a related field
- Ability to apply electrical/electronic engineering principles to develop, test, and modify electronic circuitry (e.g. semiconductor devices micro processors, transistors, diodes, etc.)
- Ability to recognize and remain current with communication protocol, test definition and test execution
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills including, but not limited to, listening effectively, and soliciting input from other as well as well documented test plans and results
- Experience with schematic capture tools
- Able to work a Hybrid Schedule based out of Raleigh, North Carolina
- Willing to Travel up to 25%
- Knowledge of DFMEA or other quality systems
- Working knowledge of embedded hardware systems (Microprocessor/Microcontroller, FPGA, CPLD Memories, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Independent work ethic
Preferred:
- Experience with breakers or breaker control units
- Experience with communication protocols
- Experience with coding for test automation or firmware
- Experience with IEC & UL Standards
- Experience with Trip Units, New Energy Landscape, & Automatic Switches
