Position: Process Engineer Supervisor
Location: Mesquite, TX
Job Description:
As a Process Engineer Supervisor at our Mesquite, TX facility, you will play an important role inoverseeing the manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. You will lead a team of shift process technicians in optimizing production processes and product quality, implementing improvement activities, and maintaining high standards of performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and mentor a team of process technicians in the PV module manufacturing facility runs 24/7.
2. Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve product quality and manufacturability.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, equipment, quality, and maintenance to achieve production goals.
4. Analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance process performance.
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
6. Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions.
7. Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce costs.
9. Participate in new product introduction and process validation activities.
10. Support training and development of team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within a high-volumeand fast-pacedmanufacturing environment
3. Proven experience in process optimization, continuous improvement, and project management.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
5. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
6. Familiarity with quality management systems and manufacturing standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree preferred
2. Two years the solar module manufacture industry
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
4. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functional teams
5. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
