Job Summary:
The Admin/Trainer Assistant will provide administrative support to the training department while assisting in the development and delivery of training programs for employees. This role involves coordinating training sessions, maintaining training records, and ensuring smooth administrative operations within the training function of the solar manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update training records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and distribute training materials, including manuals, presentations, and handouts.
- Assist with onboarding processes for new hires, including scheduling orientation sessions and preparing necessary documentation.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and preparing reports.
- Training Assistance:
- Support the development and delivery of training programs, including the creation of instructional materials and the use of training software and tools.
- Assist trainers with setup and facilitation of training sessions, ensuring all equipment and materials are ready and functional.
- Gather and analyze feedback from training sessions to help improve future training programs.
- Maintain a positive learning environment by addressing participant needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between the training department and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide support to employees regarding training-related inquiries and assistance.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and address training needs and gaps within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or training support role is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with training software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with employees at all levels.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Bilingual in Spanish (Mandatory)
Working Conditions:
- This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment, which may involve exposure to various manufacturing conditions.
- Ability to work occasional extended hours or weekends as needed.
