Position Title: Land Liaison & Document Executive
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Land Liaison & Document Executive for our solar projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating land acquisition processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Land Acquisition**:
- Identify potential land parcels suitable for solar development through research and collaboration with landowners, real estate agents, and local authorities.
- Negotiate land acquisition agreements, including leases, easements, and purchase contracts, while ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Coordinate with legal counsel to review and finalize land agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
2. **Documentation Management**:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for each project, including land agreements, permits, licenses, and regulatory filings.
- Organize and manage project documentation in digital and physical formats, ensuring accessibility and accuracy for internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement document control procedures to track revisions, approvals, and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
3. **Regulatory Compliance**:
- Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations governing land use, environmental impact assessments, and solar development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to land acquisition, permitting, zoning, and environmental impact assessments.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, environmental consultants, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals for project development.
4. **Stakeholder Coordination**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for landowners, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders involved in the land acquisition and development process.
- Coordinate meetings, site visits, and communications with stakeholders to address concerns, resolve issues, and facilitate project progress.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with landowners and local communities to foster cooperation and support for solar projects.
5. **Project Support**:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to support project development activities, including site assessment, feasibility studies, and construction planning.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and reports as needed.
- Provide administrative support and assist with other duties as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in land acquisition, real estate negotiations, or property management, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
- Strong understanding of land use regulations, permitting processes, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
