As a Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services for renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support renewable energy projects
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services
- Monitor procurement activities, including purchase orders and delivery schedules
- Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies in the renewable energy industry
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal procurement policies
- Manage supplier performance and address any issues or concerns
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the renewable energy industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and industry trends
- Experience in managing supplier relationships and performance
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the renewable energy industry
