Summary
You will serve as an Administrative Officer with National Park Service.
Major Duties
As an Administrative Officer, will perform the following duties: Provides authoritative advice on a wide range of administrative functions as these apply to the park. Plans, analyzes, and monitors the formulation and development park-wide plans, programs, procedures, operating policies, internal controls and program goals. Initiates business and administrative studies to assess unusual conditions that impact the effectiveness of park operations. Develops new programs, improve effectiveness, resolve complex problems Maintains surveillance over the park's business systems to ensure maximum probability of mission success. Works with the Superintendent, Division Chiefs, and employees of the park, the Chief of Administration/Business Manager builds within the management team and staff. This position is responsible for overseeing the park's budget and financial management, administrative services (including, but not limited to, payroll and timekeeping, payment of invoices, internal controls and audits, bills of collection, and travel services), planning, and human resources management. Manage and oversee the work of a housing program, assigning maintenance priorities, leading updating Housing Management Plan efforts.
