We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Systems Engineer to join our newly launched Hydrogen Center of Excellence (COE) in Burlington, MA. You will engage and contribute to cutting edge technology that will be integral in a greener world.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Field and test system development for water electrolyzer stacks (Building, Designing, Part Sourcing & Specification, Commissioning, Troubleshooting, etc.)
- Rigorously implement safety measures pertaining to Hydrogen and Oxygen production
- Aid in design iterations, updating documents such as P&ID, PFD, HMB, Line List, Controls Narrative, Utility Consumption List, general arrangement, etc.
- Ability to interact with vendors, customers, and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years in systems design engineering
- Design experience with industrial process skids and/or electrolyzer or fuel cell test stations
- Design experience dealing with hazardous gases
- Well-versed in mechanical, electrical, process, and controls (PLC) aspects of system design
- Strong communication, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is mostly in-person
- Willing to be a dynamic and creative member of a growing team, able to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams and autonomously

Salary: $80K to 120k, depending on the appropriate experience.
Candidates should expect up to 10% travel.
