Octopus Energy Generation (OEGEN) is a leader in sourcing, investing in, and managing a wide range of utility-scale renewable energy assets. As we continue to expand our investment base, we are dedicated to building a diverse team that reflects the communities we serve.
Since our entry into the renewables market in 2010, OEGEN has achieved remarkable milestones, becoming a leading investor in onshore wind across mainland Europe, the largest investor of solar power in Europe, and recently venturing into offshore wind projects. Currently, we manage a global portfolio of over £6 billion in renewable energy assets.
Our operational portfolio consists of more than three hundred large scale energy-generating companies delivering revenue of over £500 million per year. We take pride in our wind farms, solar power plants, and upcoming projects in energy storage and hydrogen. To support our ambitious growth plans and long-term ownership of energy assets, we are expanding our team.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Asset Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy, particularly in solar PV design, investment analysis, and asset management.
This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance and profitability of our renewable energy assets through advanced modelling, proactive operation strategies, and effective risk management. Additionally, the Technical Asset Manager will provide essential support to project development analysis to ensure design standardisation and suitable employers requirements are always considered. This will involve working closely with project development and deal teams to integrate best practices and standards into the design and planning stages, thereby optimising project outcomes and ensuring consistency across our portfolio.
International experience will be desired, as the role may involve collaborating with teams and stakeholders from diverse geographic regions, necessitating an understanding of global market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and cultural nuances.
