What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Support pop-up retail locations from launch planning through activation close, helping teams prepare operating routines, customer-facing workflows, issue escalation paths, and day-of execution support to ensure readiness and a consistently strong customer experience.
- Support the development and execution of the customer journey from first visit through delivery by documenting key touchpoints, identifying operational gaps, and helping teams create consistent handoffs across each customer interaction.
- Develop comprehensive playbooks for Customer Specialists to standardize processes, reinforce best practices, and support consistent customer experiences.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Aftersales, Digital, Training, Human Resources, and other key departments to align Retail Sales Operations programs, processes, and initiatives with Scout's broader business objectives and customer experience strategy.
- Provide operational support for Scout Motors office locations as needed, while maintaining primary focus on retail readiness, market activation, and customer-facing launch support.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline workflow development, enhance documentation processes, improve operational analysis, and drive efficiency across Retail Sales Operations.
- Define, implement, and monitor key performance indicators for retail readiness and pop-up activation, including metrics related to productivity, customer satisfaction, operational execution, and location performance.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
- Travel: Domestic and international travel required, approximately 25% of the time. Valid driver's license required.

- 5-7 years of experience in retail operations, automotive retail, field operations, market launch, or a related customer-facing operations environment; management experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, software, tools and techniques
- Strong proficiency with standard project management and collaboration tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and keep stakeholders aligned in a fast-moving launch environment.
- Experience with implementation or expert level user of software platforms such as CRM, DMS, TMS, etc.
- Exceptional communication (written and spoken), stakeholder management, planning, and execution skills.
- Experience with implementation or expert level user of software platforms such as Salesforce & SuccessFactors.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A builder’s mindset – comfortable with ambiguity, energized by early-stage challenges, and motivated by the opportunity to create something new
- Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, approximately X % of the time.
- Valid driver's license required.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $90,000.00 - $112,500.00
