Summary
This position serves as the Superintendent for Shiloh National Military Park and will be duty-stationed in Shiloh, TN. This position is also open to public under announcement CAHT-26-13073475-DE-MH. Major Duties

Today's Superintendents are expected to lead beyond the boundaries of a single park by investing in, coaching, and empowering senior managers and fellow Superintendents, creating the conditions in which accomplished leaders can thrive, exercise sound judgment, and deliver exceptional stewardship and public service. Successful candidates serve as multipliers of leadership capacity-fostering collaboration across organizational boundaries, navigating the complexities of leading experienced executives with diverse perspectives and authorities, and building high-performing organizations grounded in accountability, integrity, and trust. They cultivate enduring partnerships, ensure decisions are lawful and mission-focused, and inspire confidence among employees, partners, gateway communities, Tribal Nations, and the American people. As the Park Manager (Superintendent) you will perform the following major duties: Determines strategic direction, goals, and objectives for Shiloh National Military Park. Responsible for all aspects of management of the park through subordinate staff including planning and programming, public relations, administration, resource management, safety, interpretation, visitor services, and facilities maintenance. Fosters and maintains external relationships and partnerships, such as with community organizations, Native American tribes, elected officials, stakeholders, and partners. Builds coalitions internally and with other federal agencies, state, and local governments, as well as non-profit and private sector organizations to achieve common goals. Ensures compliance with all federal laws and National Park Service (NPS) policies, ensuring that the park's financial and other resources are used strategically and effectively to meet NPS objectives.
