Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in Shippingport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related procedures with professionalism. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Fri	05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
Sat	05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of industrial work areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, incidents, and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
