H2M architects + engineers, a multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm with multiple offices in NY & NJ seeks qualified interns to work closely with experienced professionals in our GIS/Planning Division at our Parsippany, NJ office.
The Intern will be responsible for:
General administrative tasks
Assist with the development and maintenance of various forms of GIS data.
Assist in preparing Environmental Assessment Forms and Environmental Impact Statements
Organize project files and compile reports containing multiples chapters and appendices.
Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:
Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a Geography, Environmental Science/Studies, Geology, Urban Planning, Engineering, Political Science, or related discipline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Eagerness to learn.
Ability to work individually as well as in a team.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with Esri’s suite of GIS products including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online.

The hourly rate for this role is $19.25 to $27.00.
