The Role & Impact
As a Field Electrician at Dynamic Ecohome, you are the face of our company and the technical authority on the ground:
- Independent Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical and smart-system challenges across active residential battery and energy storage installations.
- Customer Representation: Serve as a trusted technical guide for homeowners—explaining system functionality, answering questions, and maintaining pristine job site standards.
- Quality Control & Code Mastery: Ensure every installation meets code requirements (NEC) and easily passes municipal building department and AHJ inspections on the first attempt.
- Field Mentorship & Collaboration: Help train junior electricians, master emerging clean-energy technologies (Sonnen, Tesla, EV chargers, generators), and continuously raise team standards.
- Priority Service Leadership: Participate in a rotated on-call schedule to support critical customer service calls when urgent needs arise.
Qualifications & Experience
We welcome high-performing electricians at every level of licensure who are driven to grow their careers:
- Apprentice Electricians: Driven to learn the trade, build hands-on mastery with residential energy systems, and fast-track toward a Wireman or Journeyman license.
- Residential Wiremen: Focused on crew ownership, precise code compliance, clean job site execution, and direct customer interactions.
- Journeyman Electricians: Serving as lead technical authorities on site, liaison to city inspectors (AHJs), and mentors to junior crew members.
- Master Electricians: Leading field operations quality, handling complex system designs, and ensuring overall technical excellence.
General Requirements:
- Valid Texas Electrical License (Apprentice, Residential Wireman, Journeyman, or Master).
- Minimum 2 years of residential electrical experience preferred.
- Experience with residential battery systems, EV charging equipment, or whole-home generators is a strong plus.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean, safe driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Compensation & Career Progression
We offer top-of-market hourly rates tied directly to your license, technical skill, and leadership execution:
- Apprentice Electrician: $25.00 – $30.00 / hr
- Residential Wireman: $30.00 – $36.00 / hr
- Journeyman Electrician: $36.00 – $40.00 / hr
- Master Electrician: $42.00+ / hr
