The Role & Your Impact
As a Residential Battery Electrician across the DFW market, you are the frontline technical authority ensuring our battery portfolio meets uncompromising standards of reliability and safety:
- Independent Problem Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical and system-level issues on active residential battery installations independently.
- Quality Assurance & Code Compliance: Perform corrective rework to ensure systems meet strict National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and pass municipal inspections on the first attempt.
- Inspector & AHJ Relations: Serve as the authoritative face of Dynamic Ecohome during municipal inspections, compliance walkthroughs, and utility tie-ins.
- Crew Mentorship & Onboarding: Assist with hands-on training and technical onboarding for new installation crews, setting the benchmark for field quality and execution.
- Priority Response Leadership: Build deep expertise across energy storage architecture (Sonnen, Tesla, Enphase) and participate in a rotated on-call schedule to manage urgent evening/weekend service calls.
Qualifications & Career Progression
We welcome motivated, self-directed electricians at every stage of their license path:
- Apprentice Electrician ($25.00 – $30.00 / hr): Eager to master clean energy tech, build hands-on experience, and fast-track to licensure.
- Residential Wireman ($30.00 – $36.00 / hr): Focused on crew quality, precise code compliance, and excellent customer interactions.
- Journeyman Electrician ($36.00 – $40.00 / hr): Lead technical expert in the field, inspector liaison, and crew mentor.
- Master Electrician ($42.00+ / hr): Operations technical authority, complex system troubleshooter, and field quality leader.
General Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant residential electrical experience.
- Valid Texas Electrical License (Apprentice, Residential Wireman, Journeyman, or Master).
- Prior experience with residential battery systems, EV charging equipment, or whole-home generator installations is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High-ownership mindset with strong verbal communication skills for interacting with homeowners and municipal inspectors.
