The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution of maintenance, corrective action, restoration, and operational service projects across an assigned portfolio of renewable energy assets. This role drives contractors, vendors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established schedules, scopes, and service expectations. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for contractor onboarding, project tracking, documentation management, invoice processing, and service execution workflows while proactively identifying, communicating, and escalating project risks, delays, and operational issues. Successful candidates possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, a project management mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting asset reliability, availability, and operational performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive contractors, vendors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and within established timelines.

Coordinate site access, scheduling, logistics, procurement activities, and project deliverables necessary to support successful project execution.

Monitor project progress and proactively communicate status updates, risks, delays, and required actions to stakeholders.

Track project milestones, deliverables, action items in CMMS, and closeout activities to ensure timely completion.

Coordinate contractor schedules, site visits, project deliverables, and service execution activities.

Escalate contractor performance concerns, missed deadlines, resource constraints, or execution risks to manager.

Maintain contractor records, insurance certificates, safety documentation, and compliance requirements in the CMMS, CRM, and PMO.

Maintain accurate project records, service request documentation, contractor updates, and closeout files.

Support scope development, work order administration, procurement tracking, and service request management.

Support the execution of maintenance, corrective action, restoration, warranty, and operational improvement initiatives.

Support tracking equipment failures, recurring issues, contractor response times, and restoration activities.

Translate leadership direction into actionable tasks, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-up activities.

Demonstrate ownership, accountability, professionalism, and effective communication when interacting with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Operations Coordinator does not have direct supervisory responsibility, but is responsible for regional contractors and vendors onboarding, offboarding, and activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, Operations Management, or a related field

1-3 years of experience in project management, asset management, engineering, performance analytics, operations, or related project-based environments.

Strong understanding of project performance metrics, contractor performance metrics, service execution KPIs, schedule adherence, and project tracking methodologies.

Ability to learn inverter monitoring platforms, remote diagnostic tools, service ticket systems, and renewable energy operations technologies.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Interfaces with customers, vendors, and the public. All employees, including Senior and Executive Management, Sales & Finance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Be available to learn in both a field-type environment or in a professional office setting with local travel to jobsites.
