THE OPPORTUNITY
Join an established international food and ingredient business supporting a busy commercial pipeline and innovation function. This role will coordinate commercial opportunities, maintain accurate records, oversee stage-gate progression and deliver clear reporting to support effective business decisions.
Working across Commercial, Product Development and wider teams, you will provide central coordination, maintain project visibility and contribute to innovation and new product development programmes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Enter, oversee and update manufacturing opportunities within the company CRM across ingredient blends, premix solutions and contract manufacturing.
• Check that opportunity records are complete, accurate and consistently maintained.
• Work with commercial representatives to gather, verify and refresh opportunity information.
• Protect data accuracy, consistency and overall quality throughout the pipeline.
• Complete routine reviews to ensure information remains current.
• Track opportunities through agreed development stages.
• Confirm actions, approvals and essential information are completed at each milestone.
• Flag outstanding tasks, incomplete data and emerging commercial risks.
• Chase relevant stakeholders to keep opportunities moving forward.
• Escalate delays, constraints and process blockages to appropriate senior stakeholders.
• Maintain stage records and associated project documentation.
• Prepare regular pipeline reports for senior leadership, regional management and commercial teams.
• Maintain dashboards, summaries and supporting management information.
• Review pipeline activity by customer, stage, commercial value or volume and anticipated launch timing.
• Identify patterns, exposure, gaps and potential opportunities across the pipeline.
• Contribute to the improvement of business intelligence reporting.
• Assist with monitoring product development and formulation resource usage by customer and opportunity.
• Serve as a central contact between Commercial, Product Development, Innovation and external partners when necessary.
• Coordinate communication between departments supporting opportunity delivery.
• Keep stakeholders updated on project progress, actions and interdependencies.
• Encourage cross-functional teamwork and assist with resolving issues.
• Help enhance opportunity administration and reporting procedures.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of pipeline governance tools and dashboards.
• Provide support and holiday cover across key pipeline administration and reporting activities.
• Assist with broader innovation and operational improvement projects.
ABOUT YOU
• Background within FMCG, food production, ingredients or a comparable sector.
• Previous responsibility for data administration and management reporting within business systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel capability.
• Excellent planning, organisation and coordination skills.
• Confident handling several competing priorities and deadlines.
• CRM experience such as Salesforce would be advantageous.
• Power BI knowledge would be beneficial.
• Project coordination, project management experience or relevant qualifications would be an advantage.
