Starting Rate of pay: $18/hr - $23/hr -depends on experience
$500 sign-on bonus
+$2/hour for night shift differential
Eligible for monthly profit sharing. (With profit sharing. earnings can increase by -$1.50-$3.00/hour)
Shift Available and Hours:
7pm-1am, 4X4 schedule
6pm-6am, 4X4 schedule
6:30pm-6:30am, Monday - Thursday
7:30pm-5:30am, Monday - Thursday
What you will be doing
- Performs production and material handling responsibilities within the assigned department, which may include Packing, Cast House, Extrusion, Die Shop, Paint, or Shipping.
- Receives and reviews work orders, packing orders, or production instructions and ensures required materials, tools, and equipment are available.
- Moves aluminum extrusions and other materials safely throughout the production process, utilizing team lifting techniques when required.
- Operates basic equipment and tools, including saws and material handling equipment, in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- With assistance of a co-worker when required, lifts, moves, packages, or stages materials according to customer and production specifications.
- Maintains accurate identification and tracking of materials, racks, bundles, and work-in-process inventory.
- Loads, unloads, and transfers materials to conveyors, packaging equipment, storage locations, or shipping areas.
- Performs visual inspections of materials and finished products to verify quality, dimensions, and compliance with specifications.
- Completes required production, inventory, and quality documentation accurately.
- Ensures finished materials are properly packaged, labeled, staged, painted, stored, or prepared for shipment as applicable.
- Communicates quality, equipment, safety, or production concerns to Lead Persons and Supervisors.
What will make you successful?
Required Education/Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years or older. (required)
- Ability to read and use a tape measure that shows measurements in feet and inches. (required)
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment is
preferred.
