PTS Advance is currently looking for Control Systems Designers.
Temporary positions.
Possible locations: Bellingham WA, Walnut Creek CA, Billings MT, Salt Lake City UT or Anchorage AK.
What You'll Do
Design Partnership Execute project design tasks alongside Control Systems Engineers while building expertise in industrial instrumentation and control systems. Support detailed construction package development.
Technical Development Create block diagrams, location plans, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and equipment layouts. Research client databases and coordinate document control procedures.
Quality Execution Perform quality checks on your work while developing understanding of codes, standards, and professional drawing requirements.
What You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience: 1-10 years in Control Systems
- Technical Skills: AutoCAD proficiency, drafting expertise, basic 3D design knowledge
- Education: AutoCAD Level 1 & 2 Certificates OR 1-3 years I&C design experience
- Communication: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Physical: Industrial facility work capability, ladder climbing, PPE compliance
Essential Requirements
- Microsoft Office applications mastery
- Team collaboration in diverse environments
- Travel willingness for remote work sites
- Self-driven work ethic with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- A.A.S. or higher in engineering or related discipline
- INtools (SPI) experience
- Hands-on experience with Revit software is highly desirable
- Electrical design background
- Industrial facility maintenance/projects experience
- Small project construction package development ($0-1MM TIC)
