Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Civil Quality Engineer (QA/QC) to oversee the quality assurance and quality control of all civil and structural works for our utility-scale Solar PV projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that site grading, access roads, piling, tracker/fixed-tilt structural foundations, inverter station platforms, and main substation civil works strictly adhere to project specifications, engineering designs, and international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Plan Implementation: Execute and maintain the project-specific Quality Management System (QMS), Project Quality Plan (PQP), and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for all civil works.
- Structural Foundation & Piling Quality: Supervise and approve piling operations (ramming, pre-drilling), conducting pile load tests (static, dynamic, lateral) to ensure load-bearing compliance for solar structures.
- Civil Infrastructure Inspection: Conduct daily field inspections of earthworks, site grading, drainage systems, internal access roads, perimeter fencing, and concrete
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deficient civil works; track and verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Documentation & RFI Management: Review and approve Requests for Inspection (RFIs), maintain comprehensive QA/QC checklists, and compile the final civil quality documentation handover packages.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 6-10 years of dedicated QA/QC civil engineering experience, with at least 2+ years specifically on utility-scale Solar PV projects.
