Role: Class 2 Driver (Hook Loader Experience Preferred)
Location: Preston, PR2
Hours: Monday – Friday, 42.75 hours per week plus occasional overtime
Salary: £14 p/h - £16 p/h, dependent on experience
The Role:
We are a fast-growing recycling company expanding into our own vehicle fleet, and we’re looking for a skilled and dependable Class 2 Driver to join our team.

We operate UK-wide across construction, manufacturing, retail, utilities and public sector markets, offering total waste management, WEEE recycling, and specialist hazardous waste services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 2 vehicles (primarily hook loaders) for waste and recycling collections
- Carry out safe loading/unloading and tipping of containers
- Perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance reporting
- Maintain accurate delivery and collection records
- Represent the company professionally with customers and the public
The ideal candidate:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license
- CPC card and Digital Tachograph
- Experience with hook loaders strongly preferred
- Good knowledge of UK driving laws and local areas
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
