Command the Crew
As a Solar Service Foreman, you’ll keep PV systems performing at their peak—protecting uptime, quality, and safety on every site. You’ll lead electricians by example and drive clean, code-correct work that customers can count on.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues on PV systems/solar arrays and identify improvement opportunities
- Read/interpret blueprints and apply NEC requirements in the field
- Test, commission, and verify inverter performance
- Coordinate daily job status with the Project Manager and Dispatch; ask questions when clarity is needed
- Maintain tool readiness, neat installations, and a clean professional appearance (including vehicle)
Required skills/qualifications:
- Prior hands-on PV/solar array experience; strong leadership and communication
- Microsoft Office proficiency; punctual, can-do attitude
- Valid driver’s license, insurable; cell phone with voicemail/email/texting
- Travel/out-of-town willingness; able to work in all weather, at heights, and lift 75+ lbs
