Introduction

TAG Energy is growing its Commercial & Industrial projects team. We're looking for a qualified, registered electrician to install and commission C&I solar PV, battery storage and hybrid inverter systems, and to issue CoCs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Install LV, PV, inverter and BESS systems to SANS 10142-1 and SANS 10142-1-2
\uD83D\uDD39 Test, commission and issue CoCs under the Electrical Installation Regulations
\uD83D\uDD39 Support grid-tie / SSEG compliance documents (NRS 097-2-1)
\uD83D\uDD39 Find faults and correct non-compliant installations
\uD83D\uDD39 Lead and mentor on-site installation teams

Desired Experience & Qualification

Trade tested electrician (Section 13(2) / Red Seal)
✅ Registered with the Department of Employment and Labour as an Installation Electrician or Master Installation Electrician
✅ 3+ years' C&I experience, including three-phase installations
✅ Hands-on solar PV and battery storage experience
✅ Valid driver's licence and willing to travel

Nice to have: PV GreenCard, commercial BESS commissioning, inverter brand experience (Sungrow, Huawei, SMA, Deye, Victron, Sigenergy), Working at Heights
