NV5 is seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer/Scientist - Stormwater Compliance & Water Resources to join our growing Water Resources practice in Torrance, California. This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside industry-leading stormwater professionals supporting a diverse portfolio of industrial, commercial, municipal, institutional, and construction clients throughout Southern California.
The successful candidate will apply technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and innovative problem-solving skills to help clients navigate complex environmental requirements, minimize compliance risks, and achieve sustainable water quality objectives. Responsibilities will include supporting compliance programs associated with California's Industrial General Permit (IGP), Construction General Permit (CGP), Commercial, Industrial and Institutional (CII) Permit, municipal NPDES permits, and related regulatory programs.
Working under the guidance of experienced technical leaders and Senior Program Managers, this role offers exposure to a wide range of challenging projects involving industrial facilities, municipalities, ports, airports, universities, developers, and public agencies.
