Recent growth in client demand has led to an opportunity for a
senior lawyer to join the practice. You would work with our market
leading Partner Elisa de
Wit, who is one of Australia’s most respected climate change
lawyers. Your role would be to support the carbon practice with
advisory, commercial and transactional matters. You would be
exposed to both Australian carbon market clients, as well as
international clients and projects in the carbon space. The
opportunity presents excellent exposure for career advancement in a
rapidly emerging area of the law.

To be considered for this role you must have;
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years PQE gained within a reputable
Environment & Planning, Climate Change, Corporate or Finance
practice
- Knowledge of climate change and carbon legislation or
policy preferred, but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including
strong commercial drafting skills
- Strong time management & organisational skills with the
capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities
simultaneously
- Client facing aptitude
- Genuine interest in the area of climate change law
